Trap combos

Combos are not “more traps”—they are one decision split across time. A plate that fires early wastes a boulder; a plate that fires late loses kills. Learn three families: pin, shred, and tax.

Starter pin (plate + crossbow + spikes)

The plate marks commitment. Crossbow removes HP, spikes clean up runners. Tweak spacing using layout corners so bolts do not collide with geometry. Mentioned across FAQ as the most consistent opener.

Shred (swirl / tentacle + floor hazards)

Swirl and tentacles keep bodies on spikes or steam. VFX-heavy—keep centers readable.

Tax (poison darts + loops)

Poison darts love winding paths. Pair with mind flare to extend pathing mistakes.
